Introducing Dear Louise

Hello, I am Camille Ernst a fashion student enthusiast in the Midwest. My main focus is design and I have a lot of aspirations pertaining what avenues in design I want to reach: Costuming, Childrenswear, Styling, Dancewear; the list goes on. So why also add historian you ask? Well, as a historian I get to take on the role of writer, student, maker, stylist, photographer, curator, pretty vintage girl and live through all people vicariously. I have always been fascinated with all things old for as long as I can remember. I have also always been a creative so that kind of explains why I am interested in learning how people used to make and design dress. There’s much more to this topic than just being fashionable for all eras including our current one. So kick back to take it back with me to when everyone used to dress some other way.
